How O’Charley’s Achieved Energy Efficiency Across 100+ Locations

In 2022, we partnered with Restaurant Growth Services for a large initiative: to bring energy efficiency to more than 100 of their O’Charley’s and 99 Restaurant locations across 15 different states. 

O’Charley’s and Ninety-Nine Restaurants had been spending over $13 million per year on electricity, and they needed a way to reduce costs, improve operations, and lower carbon emissions. To achieve this, they decided to expand their partnership with Budderfly.  

Budderfly is now installing over 500 high-efficiency HVAC units and other industry-leading technologies at the brand’s locations. Budderfly is also providing all the upfront capital to do so and will invest over $100,000 per restaurant.
