Budderfly is working to mitigate this problem with alongside our customers. In 2025, we activated the Budderfly virtual power plant, a network of commercial sites that can now support the grid during peak moments—reducing emissions, strengthening resilience, and saving energy. By empowering our customers to become active participants in the grid, we offer businesses the opportunity to help reduce as well as futureproof their business against increasing grid strain.
